“This work is a sandstone Vihara boundary stone. It is 90 centimeters high. It is registered in the collection of the National Museum. However, there are no available records for its origin or the exact location of where it was discovered.

It is sculpted in the shape of a bodhi leaf, in bas-relief. Carved, in the leaf is a sculpture of a blossoming lotus flower, that can also be interpreted as a stupa tower. A line in the center symmetrically divides the bodhi leaf. This leaf plays a very important role in the Buddhist religion. Khmer ancestors created it as a tool to assist them in determining the axis with the which to devise a plan for building temples or other religious structures. More precisely a bodhi leaf is used to pinpoint the sacred location for a monument.
