“This is a bronze statue of the Brahman Triad or a congregation of three Brahman divinities. Its origin remained unclear due to lack of early records. Experts of Khmer Art have determined this is a Bayon style and created in the late 12th or the early 13th century Angkorean era during the reign of king Jayavarman the VII from the year 1181 to 1218 CE.
The works shows of three Hindus figures standing on one ionic platform on the proper right. Stand Vishnu holding a chakra, conch, stick and symbol of earth as his attributes. On his proper left is Shiva, his left hand holds the trident it this unclears what he has in this right hand. To the left of him is Lakshmi, who is holding lotus flowers. In principle, both Hinduism and Buddhism have several figure representations. In Hinduism each divinity representation has his regular place. For example, Shiva is in the middle between Vishnu on his right and Lakshmi on his left.”
